Four senior officials from the National Cultural Commission (NCC) graduated from a weeklong Fixed Asset Management training program in Port Moresby, facilitated by Kumulsoft Limited.

The training, which took place from 27 February to 3 March 2026, was enabled by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the NCC and Kumulsoft late last year to enhance digital asset governance.
The following officers completed the program and received attainment are Mrs Jenny Jeffery-Executive Manager; Corporate Service, Mr Livai Waion-Administration Officer, Mr Leonard Sogavare- Finance Officer and Mr Masi Martin-Internal Auditor.

The curriculum utilized Kumulsoft’s Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS), a cloud-based solution designed to align with the Digital Government Act 2022. The training covered three primary modules:

• General Fixed Asset Management Module: Asset registration, classification, and lifecycle tracking.
• Fleet Management Module: Monitoring vehicle utilization and fuel controls.
• Property Management Module: Land, building records, and maintenance.

NCC Finance Officer Leonard Sogavare noted the training’s importance for generating real-time data and ensuring audit compliance, describing the software as a “critical tool” for managing government assets effectively. The NCC officers were joined by representatives from other agencies, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and the National Fisheries Authority (NFA).
